The entire experience was smooth, and it was a real pleasure to work with the Paradis Family! I will be the first to admit, I never ever wanted a pool. We had a pool when I was a kid and it was a lot of work. Testing the chemical levels daily and hours vacuuming the pool, really took the fun out of it after a while. This was my perception until I met with Paradis Pools. From our very first meeting, Vic and the Paradis team discussed the various options available to help make life a little easier. We are a typical busy family of four! We work full time and kids are in several activities/ sports. Considering a pool was a big step for us. Hearing about some of the products that Paradis offers helped in our decision making. After learning about these offerings, we added them to our package. We purchased the FROG Mineral/ Chlorine system and the Dolphin S50 automatic vacuum. Boy, things have come a long way! The FROG system is great! It’s a mineral based system which uses less chlorine than other pool systems. This is great because your spending less on chemicals and its less irritation on your skin. It’s a set it and forget it system. You place in a torpedo pac once every week or two, test your water about 1x per week and the system does the rest! I actually wondered if I should be doing more than I was. The Dolphin S50 is an automatic vacuum you place in the pool. It took some getting used to, but it does a great job and after an hour or two the pool is all vacuumed up. You empty the basket and put it away until its next use. This, similar to the FROG system, is set it and forget it. You plug it in and drop it in the pool and it does the rest.” - Jim B

Installation Options: We have been the CT industry leader in aboveground installation since 1979. We have several installation upgrades that you can add to your pool installation to provide for a premium pool experience. The Clay-Silt Base- This option upgrades the typical sand base to a clay silt base. This mixture is screened at our own processing plant to give you maximum protection. When compacted, the clay-silt forms the ultimate pool base. We are so confident in our base we give you a five year written warranty against rock protrusion. What does this mean? If a rock penetrates the clay-silt base and damages the liner, we will replace your liner, and provide the installation labor, at no charge to you. There are no deductibles at any point in the warranty. Floor Foam- This option adds a layer of foam between your pool base and liner. This provides a barrier of insulation between the cool ground underneath your pool and the water in it. This will help keep your pool water warmer. You will also be impressed with the comfort and protection this product provides. When you combine the floor foam with the clay-silt base option, we extend your warranty again rock protrusion for as long as you own the pool . Wall Foam- Add our wall foam to your swimming pool and, like the floor foam, it will help keep your pool warmer. This product also softens the wall of the pool making it safer, and more fun, for children. Another benefit is that wall foam helps prevent corrosion that can occur, on your pool, wall over time. This product can prevent costly liner replacements.

Upgraded Plumbing Package- This upgrade replaces the standard plastic filter hoses with long-lasting flexible PVC hoses. It also includes shut off valves and union connections which eliminate all unsightly hose clamps in most filter units. This upgrade allows you to clean or work on your filter or pool with ease. Not only does it look better then the traditional hose and clamp system, but it is far more secure when using our powerful filtration system. Filter Base- Save yourself the hassle of searching for a suitable base for your filter. We can install your filter, and even your new Frog Leap Infuser, on our high strength resin base. Winterizing Kit- This kit helps simplify the winterization process for the homeowner. During the pool installation, the regular skimmer plate is exchanged for a special winterizing plate that has a raised lip around the outside edge. The kit provides a durable plastic lid that snaps onto the faceplate providing a water-tight seal. This keeps water from getting into your skimmer during the winter, which is one of the most common causes of winter damage to above ground pools. Electrical Wiring of Pool including trench and backfill - We can provide you a quote to have our licensed electrician wire your new pool. If one stop shopping is what you are looking for, we can handle the pool from start to finish. Do I have to get all the upgrades? No, you can pick and choose any combination of options or for the ultimate swimming experience you can choose them all.
